  1. Tween & Teen Summer Program

    July 12, 2021, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ Community Recreation Center

It can be hard to figure out what to do with kids during the summer that are too old for daycare and too young to be left unsupervised every day. We take kids from 8-5 and go out in the community to do a different outdoor activity each day. Activities include rock climbing, swimming, biking, hiking, tubing, museums, canoeing, disc golf and more. The Teen program features an overnight raft trip. The Tween program has a raft trip done in a single day. This is a great chance to unplug from devices for a day or two. Tweens can sign up for Mondays, Wednesdays or both and Teens can sign up for Tuesdays, Thursdays or both. PARENT MEETING: Via YouTube Video

    July 12, 2021, 6:00 PM - July 14, 2021, 8:30 PM @ Ross Park

Trial and error is no way to learn to climb. This course is designed for adults who want to be able to set up their own climbs, tie the proper knots and belay with confidence. Equipment is provided but you are welcome to bring your own and learn to use it. Many adults with kids in our youth programs take this course so they can take their family out safely after our programs end. Student to instructor to ratios are low for maximum take home. Intermediate climbing takes basic techniques and begins to apply them to more varied situations.
