    We will meet at the take-out at 5:30 p.m. Emails will be sent giving detailed directions to participants the Monday before the float.

    The Portneuf River has several floatable sections. Join us to learn the various launches, take-outs, shuttle routes, obstacles and rivers skills. Bring your own tube or kayak or rent one from us. Shuttles are provided from the take-out to the launch. Equipment shuttles can be arranged if you have your own.

    Kids come and hang out at Ross Park with instructors who know how to make the day fun and keep little hands busy on the rocks. Our system maximizes time on the rocks and minimizes time spent in lines. Teens learn to belay one on one and begin to build anchors. Feel free to sign up for multiple sessions. Space is limited. Advanced registration required!

    The 2022 Portneuf Valley Fun Run/Walk Challenge Series features 5 unique events. Participants are invited to run or walk one, several, or all of the races. Advanced registration is highly recommended. Anyone 10 years and younger can run with the mayor for free in the Mayor's Division. Chaperones are also welcome to participate for free. No registration is required. Just show up and run. Free runners/walkers will not be chip timed or receive a shirt.

Activities include rock climbing, swimming, hiking, tubing, kayaking, paddle boarding, disc golf, educational lessons and more! The Teen program features an overnight paddle trip. The Tween program has a paddle trip done in a single day without an overnighter. This is a great chance to unplug from devices for a day or two. Tweens can sign up for Mondays, Wednesdays or both. Teens can sign up for Tuesdays, Thursdays or both. Tweens are ages 9-11. Teens are ages 12-16.

    Join us for a 6-week program of stand-up paddle boarding on the Bannock Reservoir at the Wellness Complex. Boards, fins, paddles and PFD’s are provided. We will provide an organized fitness session which may include yoga, intervals, strength or other group activities.
