November 30 to be Proclaimed “Small Business Saturday” in Pocatello

Local small businesses will be in the spotlight at Thursday’s Pocatello City Council meeting. 

Mayor Brian Blad will proclaim Saturday, November 30 as “Small Business Saturday” in Pocatello. The edict will be read by Councilwoman Heidi Adamson and urges “residents of our community, and communities across the country, to support small businesses and merchants on Small Business Saturday and throughout the year.”

The proclamation was requested by Old Town Pocatello and the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce. It will be accepted by Stephanie Palagi, Executive Director of Old Town Pocatello. 

Thursday’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
