June to be Proclaimed “Adopt a Shelter Cat” Month


Thursday, Mayor Brian Blad will proclaim June as an excellent time to add a feline furry friend to your family.

The decree will establish June 2017 as “Adopt a Shelter Cat” month in Pocatello. The proclamation is set to be read by Councilman Jim Johnston and urges residents “to consider adopting a homeless cat or finding another way to help.” The proclamation will be accepted by Rhett Nicks, Animal Services Director, with the City of Pocatello.
