Street Operations Department Crews Return to Five Day Work Schedule

Pocatello

The City of Pocatello Street Operations Department crews will return to a winter work schedule Monday, November 7. The hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Employees have been working ten-hour days, four days per week throughout the summer to allow them to coordinate their work schedules with construction contractors and to take advantage of longer daylight hours. The return to eight-hour days will permit better utilization of the shorter daylight hours during the fall and winter months. In the case of an emergency either on the weekend or after hours, calls should be made to the Pocatello Police Dispatch Center at 234-6100. Dispatchers will then notify the on-call Street Operations Department personnel. Please contact the Street Operations Department at 234-6250 during business hours for more information.
