With school out Thursday and Friday this week, staff at the Marshall Public Library are asking local youth to enjoy the days off with a good book. From noon to 5 p.m. on both days, the library will host a "Read Out" in celebration of Teen Read Week. Teens (6th grade and up) are invited to take part in the "Read Out" Thursday, while children (through 5th grade) are invited to take part Friday. Youth who would like to attend are asked to bring a pillow and their favorite book while the library will provide snacks and music.
