Flag Redesign Effort, Fall Cleanup Programs to be featured on “Calling City Hall”


Two citizen participation programs will be highlighted will be highlighted on October’s episode of “Calling City Hall.” Mayor Brian Blad and Councilwoman Heidi Adamson will be joined for the first half-hour by Flag Design Ad-hoc Committee Chair and City of Pocatello Public Information Officer Logan McDougall for an update on how the effort to raise a new, official flag for the Gate City is moving forward. During the second half-hour, Debbie Brady, Recycling Coordinator with the City of Pocatello Sanitation Department, will join the show for a look at the department’s fall efforts. Starting in November, Sanitation Department crews will begin their annual leaf collection and Brady will detail the requirements of the program. She will also touch on the City’s recycling and yard waste collection efforts. The show will air Tuesday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m. and due to scheduling constraints, October’s program was prerecorded.
