Water System Repair Work Scheduled for South Fairway Drive

Pocatello Water

Crews with the City of Pocatello Water Department are scheduled to make repairs along South Fairway Drive next week. On Wednesday, June 1 and Thursday June 2, workers will be replacing a pressure regulating vault station in the 2400 and 2500 blocks of South Fairway Drive. On Wednesday, water service will be shut off at approximately 7 a.m. and restored by 5 p.m. and the road will be closed to through traffic. Thursday morning, crews will finish patching the road and perform any remaining work necessary to complete the project. Crews will provide limited access to property owners within the work area and it is recommended that residents use alternate routes. At the end of each day, crews will restore the lanes of traffic to the general public. Officials would like to thank the public for their understanding and cooperation during the project. In the event of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, the schedule may be revised. Residents with questions are invited to contact the Water Department at 234-6174.
