Pocatello Regional Airport Adds Water Refill Station to List of Free Amenities

Airport

For some, it’s hard to get their recommended daily water intake when they’re travelling. But for those who start their journey at the Pocatello Regional Airport, it just got a whole lot easier.

Recently, the airport added a water refill station inside the passenger screening and boarding area at no cost thanks to Culligan Water Conditioning of Pocatello. The station features a water fountain and what will help travelers the most, a bottle refilling station.

“This station - while simple - is just another way we are trying to make travelers’ experiences at the Pocatello Regional Airport the best that they can possibly be,” said David Allen, Pocatello Regional Airport Manager.

The station is the latest in a string of amenities brought to the airport by the Pocatello-Chubbuck Chamber of Commerce Air Service Committee. In July, the airport added a “Take-a-Book/Leave-a-Book” book sharing center. The community bookshelf invites passengers to grab a little reading for their flight courtesy of Friends of the Marshall Public Library. Other free features added in recent months include a shoe shine station sponsored by Meyers Shoe Repair, complimentary coffee from the Pocatello Regional Airport, and a children’s play area. The airport has long offered free parking and free Wi-Fi to travelers.

“When you add all these free features together, it greatly enhances the value of flying from Pocatello Regional Airport,” said Allen.
