Pocatello Regional Transit (PRT) will be offering its services to help those impacted by homelessness.
Saturday, October 24, 2015 PRT buses will be providing free transportation for participants in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area to the 20th Annual Southeast Idaho Homeless Stand Down. The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Reed Gym on the campus of Idaho State University.
“PRT has been helping to end homelessness and provide transportation for this event since the beginning,” said PRT Director Dave Hunt, “We are proud to be stepping up again this year.”
Demand response hours will start at 8 a.m. for participants who reserve in advance only. Fixed Routes A and B will be operating as normal. Participants must tell the driver that they need to go to Reed Gym for the event. Return trips will also be free for participants.
