About the Committee
Come join Pocatello’s Sister City Village to help spread knowledge, hope, empowerment and health to some of the poorest people in the world. Help Kwaremenguel, help yourself. Visit our Pocatello Sister Cities Africa Facebook page.
Add to the current student sponsorship fund by donating just a few dollars or a full sponsorship. High school sponsorships are $295 and college is $590 for a full year. Any amount will help the students obtain an education.
Help us purchase an ambulance for the village. Yes, they have a medical dispensary, but sometimes they need more. The village is close to 75 miles from the closest hospital in their area. The ambulance will help:
Improve the quality of life
Bring medical security
Receive medical care not available in village.
An ambulance is greatly needed for Kwaremenguel, because of the remoteness of the village.
To help us, please give what you can to help make this necessity happen for the village.

We are often asked, where is Burkina Faso? It is just above Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo and Benin; below Mali and a neighbor to Niger on the east. Burkina Faso is 1 of the poorest and least developed countries in the world. They have a country population of 13,200,000 people, the capital in Ouagadougou. They speak French and their tribal languages.
